Climate

Although the Algarve is not in the Mediterranean the climate is warm and conducive to eating out, sports and other activities requiring generally sunny weather. With more hours of sunshine than California and only short periods of rainfall, generally between October and February, the Algarve has the perfect weather and climate for tourism.
